Okay, I am back in Franklin and love it.   Wonderful landlords, but then so were the Cobles and the Mullins.    My drive this moring was ten minutes, YEP, ten minutes.    For two years it was 40 minutes one way!!!
I was the blown away by the goodness and gnerosity of some friends that provided me with a NEW bed and mattress/springs, and, get this,    Moving truck and guys!!!!!!! How blessed am I.    Of course family loved the idea of not having to move me!!!!    THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Tuesday's Treasures

Okay,  so I went to look at the duplex last night and YES!    Pros and cons but mostly pros and the cons I can make work.   Hardwood floors, big living room, washer/dryer/refigerator/dishwasher, lots of closets (small but several).     Kitchen is small, have to get a microwave, at least I have a cart I can put it on.  Kitchen wallpaper may have to go soon --looks like cork board.  Need a twin bed for the extra bedroom/sewing room --- but that will have to wait.   Bathroom small, but will work --- I have a linen closet -- so happy.  Great neighborhood, wonderful landlords, beautigul gardens in the back, CLOSE to work and church.   Counting my blessings for sure.  HE is awesome.

yes, yes, yes, time to go to Quiltfest

Only working two days and then heading to Quiltfest in Pigeon Forge thursday through Sunday.   What a trip --- my best friend who happens to be my sister and two cousins taking on the quilts.   We laugh, we cry, we solve problems, we create problems, we talk until the wee hours and get up at wee hours.   Family is special.

Until next time. . . .  . let your faith be bigger than your fear.

Thursday's thoughts

It is Thursday and a lot of changes are happening, well, beginning to happen.   Changes at work, sometimes a little scary, still not totally over but I know God knows what is going on and his plans for me.   Decisions and changes in financial and health lifestyle.   My goal is still to be back in Franklin within 12 months, won't be easy but I am pushing forward to that goal.   Trying to do a healtheir lifestyle of eating, going well.  I LOVE fruits and vegatables, but why does fresh have to cost more?   Trying to do this and stay within a budget on food is a TEST ---sometimes I pass and sometimes not, but learning.
I can't believe in a few days my absolute very favorite person, best friend, closest to perfect person, sister will be 60!!!! I can say she is much older than I am.  I can say it, but . . . . . . . . .

Until next time   . . . . . T H I N K  before you speak
T  ---is it true
H ---is it helpful
I ---is it inspiring
N --- is it necessary
K --- it is kind.

Thursday is better than Wednesday

Okay ---- bought new tires a month ago, literally 30 days ago.   Yesterday I went to deliver some work to another office and about a mile from the office as I was returning I hit a curb.  The results were a golf ball size hole in the tire, a slit in the tire, a bent wheel and a hubcab lying in the middle of the street.
Fortunately, my brother was at home (no cell phone at the present time) and came to my rescue --that is why we call him Fairy God Bubba.   I was able to get off the road and in a parking lot and while waiting for him called Sears to see if the tire would be covered under road hazzard. YES!  Alignment if needed?  YES!
FBG came, put on the tiny tire and followed me to Sears.   Later Sears called and said I needed a new wheel -- they could not get that one straightened.   Calls to salvage yards ---nothing that new.   Hub Cab Annie's --- three days.   I need to get home tonight.  Toytoa?  YES!  one wheel in stock for that size....but,   $150.  Do I have $150? NO!  Sissy Bug to the rescue.  She came all the way from Centerville (she also had other business in Franklin that she could do) with the cash and a way to Toyota and Sears.    But really she came only for me.  She sure is special and so is FGB and so is Emiline and Penny and Pam and Norman.
Well, this means I will be in Chapel Hill even a little longer.
Left Sears at 6:30 and was so emotional drained I did not stop at church, went home , showered, read a little in my Bible and went to bed at 7:30.

WICKED !!!!

Thanks to a very good best friend, aka Dianne,  six of us went to the super amazing, mesmerizing, thrill packed, do NOT glance away, outrageous, spectacular WICKED last night.   I have tried to describe it in words --- no way!!!   Literally words cannot describe it.    Dinner at Cheeseckae Factory and we walked in the door as the "2 minutes until curtain time" annoucement was made.   Amazing.   And Ronna,  well, Ronna was hanging out the window waving as she, Dianne and Kacy passed Joyce, Nita and I.
I know I have said it before but I will say it again and again.   I am so truly blessed with wonderful family and friends.  Family is just a given.   Friends at church who become your "church family" never cease to amaze and surprise me.  Personal friends who share with you, listen to you, care about you.  Work friends ---well you better like them and be sure they like you because you are with them more than anyone else.
I am truly blessed.
