God knows the count of hairs on our head, he knows the plan he has for us... he lets us make some choices in our life but he knows when and how our end will come.
I say this as it
has been a tough few days for members of my family. Riley Spears, the father of my brother-in-law, age 87 years set out in his truck pulling the camper to go to Canada to go bear hunting (again) along with his wife of 60 years. They were 90 miles from the border when they were involved in an accident.
PaPaw Spears
was killed almost instantly. But Granny, because of the way
PaPaw had packed the back of the truck, had only bruises and minor scraps. She did have to spend overnight in the hospital in
Grayling, MI waiting for her sons to come after her. One was spared and one was taken, side by side.
My brother-in-law is a football coach for
HCHS in
Centerville, TN. On Saturday the football team (-5or6) showed up at the funeral home in their shirts to pay their respects and honor their coach. They had a choice to come. What an awesome sight!!! The whole room became quite.
My heart breaks for my nieces Emily and Susan, but their faith in the Lord will carry them through. I have some terrific nieces --- all of them and a wonderful nephew -- all who believe and love the Lord.
Until next time. . . . .Count your blessings, one by one. . . .
